Patternmaster 12-Ga SSS Sporting Clay Choke Tube, Benelli Crio/Beretta Optima+
In stock at Gander Outdoors
Patternmaster is the world's only non-constrictive choke tube, achieving substantially more energy on target through the continued development of their patented wad-stripping technology. The secret is the studs inside Patternmaster. They slow the wad for a fraction of a second and as it pauses the shot charge leaves the barrel undisturbed by the wad and gasses. By taking the wad and gasses out of the equation, Patternmaster delivers beautiful, even, dense patterns with all loads and shot sizes. Patternmaster tubes are made of Carpenter Custom 630 (aircraft quality) 17-4ph stainless steel and are heat-treated to the optimum level for best performance.
The Shooting Sport Series Sporting Clay (0.715") tube features Patternmaster's patented Gas over Constriction Technology utilizing a Coil Zone made up of a channel inside the tube used to harness gas expelled from the ammunition. Coil Zone channels are spun in a negative twist to stabilize the wad for even, consistent patterns and keep the tube tight in the barrel. Anaconda Sporting Clay tubes will throw a Lite Modified pattern with distances out to 40 yards. Sporting Clay tubes extend out the end of your barrel about three-quarters of an inch. The extension is diamond knurled to allow for hand tightening and efficient tube change. Tubes available in silver color only.
Testing done by Ballistics Performance has determined that ammunition with velocity of 1550 fps and below will achieve the best results with Patternmaster Tubes. Not for use with slug ammunition.
